The Fillworth FHDD combines the high dispersion of a rotor-stator disperser, the Fillworth “FDD”, with a top driven helical anchor stirrer. This unique design greatly reduces the power input which, coupled with rapid mixing and reduced batch times, results in high production efficiency and a uniformity of quality throughout the batch. Vessels can be jacketed for product cooling or heating up to 250°C.
The FHDD Disperser allows products at the top end of the disperser’s viscosity range to be mixed rapidly and uniformly. The helical anchor stirrer moves the product upwards in the area of the vessel sidewalls as well as slowly rotating the batch as a whole.
The helical stirrer can be reversed and assists in the discharge of product by wiping down viscous product off the vessel sidewalls.
