The “FDD” (Rotor-Stator Disperser) features Fillworth’s unique fluid wedge principle which, with no bottom bearing and an obvious flow pattern greatly reduces product heat generation. The “FDD” provides excellent batch circulation resulting in very efficient production – reducing mill passes by up to 50 – 75%.

The “FDD” competes with the traditional high-speed disperser. It offers a number of advantages:

• Easier and quicker incorporation of powders (inc. aerosils)
• Lower power consumption (typically 1/3 to 1/4 of HSD)
• No problem with powder left in corner of mixing bowls
• Improvement in bead mill performance of 20 to 30% (drastically reducing mill passes)
• Stand or vessel mounted
• Speed – 1450 rpm

The “FDD” provides excellent batch circulation resulting in very efficient production. Available for portable fixed or change pan layouts, the “FDD” ranges in sizes and powers up to 75 kW.
