We are able to design and construct pressure tanks from many materials including exotic alloys, stainless steel and carbon steels. All of our designs and constructions are made in conjunction with the European Union’s Pressure Equipment Directive which sets out standards regarding the design and fabrication of pressure containing equipment.
Other standards we meet include PD5500:2006, BS EN13445, ASME VIII Division 1, AD-Merkblatter, Stoomwezen as well as other internationally recognised publications.
When it comes to designing and constructing pressure containing equipment, welding is a vital consideration. We therefore recognise how important it is that our workers are able to meet the extremely high standards required. For this reason, all of our welders are trained, tested and certified by Lloyd’s EMEA. Our welders are also qualified to the latest recognised European standards including BS EN 287 and ASME IX.
We use front-end 3D mathematical modelling, FEA simulation and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to design all our store tanks and pressure containing systems, also performing heat transfer analysis and using code rating software. This allows us to offer the most effective solution to most processing scenarios.
